| I was born in Sint Niklaas, Belgium, to Hector and Caroline Peeters. |
 |
I was a healthy, happy baby, so healthy that I was put on a diet at 6 months of age in order to curb my ever expanding belly. The diet was so effective that I have been unable to put on any significant weight since. |
| The three of us left Belgium to start a new life in Australia when I was 2, soon after my sister Nicky was born. |

I was a nerdy kid growing up; I collected comics and played video games when I wasn't working in the family bakery. I flourished and came into my own when I discovered music, or to be more accurate Metal. Everything is seems revolved around Metal for a few years there, my hair, my clothes, my attitude, poor mum.
I still love metal, although I realise now that it is okay to like other forms of music as well and that I am not committing adultery by rocking out to a little bit of Spice Girls, seriously catchy stuff.
I left to work at a summer camp in America in 1999 and had the time of my life. I continued to travel, re-discovering my roots in Belgium while enjoying one month of retirement with my grandparents.

After getting a friendly boot up the backside, I left for England seeking gainful employment. 2 days later I was pulling pints at St Christopher's Inn, where I continued to have the time of my life, poor liver.
3 months into my stay a lovely young lass from Canada joined our team and I was smitten. I knew Monica was a keeper right away I just didn`t know it would be forever, talk about lucky.
I am the proud papa of a family of baristas at Starbucks 159 Esplanade who make it fun to go to work every day. I am an on again off again student and have been pursuing some form of tertiary education for as long as I can remember. I love learning new things but can't seem to commit to finishing any one course and getting a degree. |
